The Girl Who Played With Fire

This book was originally written in Swedish by Stieg Larsson in 2006 and is now at the top of my favorite books list. It is filled with action, mind boggling mysteries, and a shocking ending. The main character Lisbeth Salandar is a computer hacker who is blamed for three murders. Lisbeth is the most fascinating and dynamic character that i have had the opportunity to read. so much so that i feel apart of her life. This book is relatively long but extremely worth it.

  1. What does Lisbeth learn in her ordeals? Does this novel connect to the events of the others by the same author or does it just share characters?

  3. This is part of a series with The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, correct? I'm very interested in reading both of these novels because I thoroughly enjoy action and mystery. The length seems like it would benefit, rather than take away from, a novel of mystery and twists. I also love when characters have a certain mystery to themselves, even when they are the main character, whom the reader generally knows the most about.

  4. This novel seems interesting as you stated that this has risen in the top ranks of your favorite books. However, I would like to know more about this Lisbeth and what makes her so fascinating to you. Also mysteries are always a good read because it is full of suspense which throws off readers and overall makes an interesting experience.
